I thought I might introduce myself, so here you go.
^^^ That is me. I have weird hair and don’t wear makeup.
I’m Mary, I’m 15 and in my final year of secondary school. In September I’m going to college to study Chemistry, Physics, Maths and Further Maths. Yes I am one of those people that enjoys maths.
I’ve lived in the same house all my life, a small terraced house near to the town centre and the beach. I’m not a huge fan of the beach. It’s cold, windy, rocky and I don’t like the smell of the sea.
I go to a catholic school and attend church sometimes but I’m not a catholic. I don’t believe in any form of higher power. I go to church because I play clarinet and piano in the music group and volunteer in a soup kitchen once a month after mass. I believe you should do good because you’re a human being with morals, not because you want to please some deity in order to have a nice afterlife.
I have quite a few posters up in my room. My favourite band is Muse, I’ve seen them live twice and I just love everything about them, except for their fans. Gah. My favourite album, however, is not by them. It is In The Aeroplane Over The Sea by Neutral Milk Hotel. It is beautiful and thoughtful and completely perfect.
I also enjoy reading. I love a lot of books but my favourite is probably The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. I’m also a huge fan of John Green, with my favourites of his being The Fault In Our Stars and An Abundance Of Katherines. I love the original Sherlock Holmes stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and I read them after becoming obsessed with the BBC series of Sherlock over a year ago. I have a huge 1400 page book of all of them and it is wonderful and I shall take it with me to university even though it’s really heavy. I also like the standard Harry Potter and The Hunger Games, although I’m not one of those really obsessive fans.
I hope that was comprehensive enough
I rambled a lot didn’t I?
If you have any questions head on over to my ask box. I promise I’ll reply to them :)
